The author’s goal in writing this book, like the first volume, is to acquaint Persian language and literature students with another part of the history of Iranian literature. For this reason, in a purposeful plan in this book, literary periods, influential writers and poets of each period and their works are introduced in a historical context and their connection with political, social, scientific, and cultural issues, are explained and their language and style are analyzed And examples of poetry and prose of each are given to acquaint the readers. The History of Iranian Literature (2) Historical encompasses period 432 AH up to Mongol invasion and includes three chapters in which the political, cultural, and literary situation of this period is explained and then Persian prose and poetry from the beginning of the Seljuk period to the Mongol invasion are studied and analyzed.
