The History of Mysticism

In this volume, the evolution of Islamic mysticism from the seventh to the tenth century is discussed and analyzed. In the seventh century AH, a fundamental change took place in the history of Islamic mysticism, as well as the foundations of Islamic mysticism. The formation of the second mystical tradition is a turning point in the evolution of Islamic mysticism, which influenced the opinions and teachings of a large number of learned persons and created a different situation from the previous period. To study and analyze the course of mysticism and Sufism in this period, it was felt necessary to use a new plan appropriate to the new situation of Islamic mysticism. Due to this, the structure of this volume differed from the first one.
