The gilding arrays appeared on the sides of the page and between the lines before they sat in the center of the page and opened the way to the imagination of the enthusiasts, and became the basis of Illumination in the suns(Shamseh), bergamots, headers, inscriptions, and so on. Although some of the works in surviving versions of previous centuries show the place of goldsmithing without being associated with calligraphy and painting, the art of Illumination has always been extended in the shadow of these arts. This book is one of the first researches that deal with the antiquity of goldsmithing, its designs and variety, apart from calligraphy and painting. The illustrations in the book, taken from world-renowned collections, show the process of change well. All the images are included in the book in a compact disc with appropriate quality and the possibility of enlarging the works.
