Urban Economy
Planners and researchers of urban economics use both micro and macroeconomic theories, because a city encompasses almost all the elements and characteristics of a country in different economic and social fields. In the city, we encounter issues such as income, inflation, unemployment, government spending, and export and import where macroeconomic theories are used to explain and analyze them, and when faced with issues such as producer and consumer behavior, we must use microeconomic theories. Of course, it should be noted that in economics, the use of micro and macro theories in the analysis of urban issues is not very common and urban economics issues cannot be addressed without considering their location and spatial dimension of activity and establishment. The author has also tried to give scientific and logical answers to serious questions regarding urban economics by using theories of micro and macroeconomics and by considering elements such as location, space and distance and by utilizing quantitative analysis methods and complex statistical models.
