International Crisis Management
The international system is facing instability, crisis, war, and conflict due to the multiplicity of actors, the clash of resources, the efforts to increase power and security by the actors. Crises and conflicts have permeated much of the history of human-government relations; thus, although much of the international and regional events are involved with war, violence, and security threats, efforts to stop the war often fail. It can be acknowledged that the theoretical foundations of the crisis management doctrine are weak and it is impossible to predict when the crisis can be managed through diplomacy and when the crisis will end in war. In this book, an attempt has been made to explain and analyze the causes of the crisis, the effective elements in intensifying or reducing it, the obstacles to crisis management and methods for managing it, and finally, the crisis management model to identify dimensions.
