Thomas Kuhn's Philosophy: A Critical Introduction
This book is devoted to describing and evaluating the thought of Thomas Kuhn (1922-1996), an American physicist and philosopher of science. Having played an irreplaceable role in the philosophy of contemporary science and its related branches, He replaced the historical method with the analytical and logical method and advanced toward the history of science with a sociological and holistic approach. Although the foundations of empiricism and positivism have been criticized in his works, he did not intend to defend rationalism or metaphysics in his transition to positivism. Most of his critiques are aimed at undermining the rationality of science and realism, and in his works, the experimental sciences are also caught up in epistemic relativity.
