The subject of the book is architecture, which was created mainly by Muslims in Muslim lands during the first to the thirteenth centuries AH. The purpose of this book is to provide an overview of the existing historical knowledge about this architecture. The explanation of this issue is obtained from the combination of geographical and historical fragmentation; That is, the division of the Islamic world into eastern and western lands and then the historical division based on periods appropriate to each of the geographical areas: the first part, generalities and preliminaries; the second part, the beginning (first and second centuries); the third part, Eastern lands in the third to sixth centuries; the fourth part, Western lands in the third to seventh centuries; the fifth part, Eastern Lands in the seventh to ninth centuries; the sixth part, Western lands in the seventh to thirteenth centuries; the seventh part, Eastern lands in the tenth to thirteenth centuries. Each of these sections consists of chapters corresponding to the periods of the main governments. The book is organized in two volumes and the first volume contains the first to fourth parts of the book.
