An Introduction to Sanskrit
Sanskrit is one of the oldest Indo-European languages and the closest language to Avestan and ancient Persian. The oldest surviving works of this language are the sacred Vedic hymns, some of which date back to the middle of the second millennium BC. The classical form of this language has been the language of thousands of books and treatises in various literary, religious, scientific, philosophical, and artistic fields since the middle of the first millennium BC, many of which are world-famous. The book, as its name implies, teaches Sanskrit introductions to readers in a simple, concise, and systematic way, and is written for the Sanskrit introductions course, which is one of the master’s degree courses in ancient culture and languages.
