Rhetoric

Rhetoric is among the sciences that were used in the beginning to understand the mysteries of the miracle of the Holy Quran and the secrets of its eloquence and oratory, and later more in recognizing the superior speech from the inferior and preventing the deviation of poets and writers in their works as a measure. The authors of the book “Rhetoric”, Dr. Mohammad Alavi Moghadam and Dr. Reza Ashrafzadeh, have tried to present the topics of rhetorical science in a concise and useful way. Since this book is an academic textbook, every rhetorical topic has been tried to be accompanied by various evidences and examples, and yet it should be kept brief. This book, in addition to the two sections “ Ilm-ol-Ma’a:ni” and “ Ilm-ol-Bayan”, has sections on the basics of rhetorical sciences and the origin of rhetoric in Persian and Arabic, as well as eloquence and oratory.
